This service is ideal for clients who are looking to go a little lighter, but are not ready to commit to the entire head. This service is also geared towards people who do not put their hair up often, as the bottom section of the hair remains as-is

We use the same techniques and products as the Full Highlights Colour, without touching the bottom half of the head. The products used include Progress, a gentle yet effective blue lightener. It achieves the light and bright look to the hair, without causing damage.

The process of a partial highlights colour is similar to a full highlights colour, however instead of doing the entire head, the stylist only does half of the head. The stylist weaves sections in the top portion of your hair and uses a lightening dye to create blonde highlights.

Who should get a partial highlights colour?

A partial highlight colour is a good choice for those looking to go lighter, but do not mind if the bottom half of their head remains their natural colour. If the client mostly wears their hair down this is a good option, however if the client wears their hair up most of the time, they may want to select the full highlights colour as the hair underneath will show the difference in colour.

How long does the process take?

A partial highlights colour is similar to the full highlights colour process and can take anywhere from 2 – 4 hours in the salon. The stylist must first create a dye that works for your hair colour and preference. The stylist then weaves the dye throughout different sections of your hair. Because the stylist is only doing half of the head, this process will be slightly less long. The dye then sits in your hair to process and lift the pigment from your hair. Finally, the stylist will wash and style your hair.
